I love needle felting with silk. When I first started needle felting I think I must have attempted to punch every fabric in my studio! 

The magic that happens when you needle-felt silk is still my favourite. Just the simple process of applying silk to a base fabric is so satisfying! 

Grab yourself some silks and experiment with punching, you will see what I mean as the texture develops before your eyes.
