With over 25 years of experience as a conceptual textile designer, I’ve sold work internationally to some of the world’s leading fashion houses, including Dior, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton, as well as high-street names like Boden and M&S. I founded the reclaimed clothing label Salvage, with collections stocked by Koh Samui in London and Colette in Paris.
I’m also the author of six craft books, including Simply Felt, The Impatient Patchworker, and New From Old—each focused on creative reuse, upcycling, and accessible textile techniques. My work has been featured in Vogue, Embroidery Magazine, The Observer, and The Makers Story.
I’ve appeared on Kirstie’s Handmade Britain and regularly contribute to events such as The Handmade Fair. I’ve led in-person workshops for venues and institutions including Liberty, John Lewis, Soho Farmhouse, The Festival of Quilts, The Knitting & Stitching Show, and The Dyson Institute.
Academically, I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Multi-Media Textiles from Loughborough College of Art and an MA in Fashion from Central Saint Martins.
My creative journey has taken me through fashion, publishing, craft, and couture—each chapter inspiring the next. Whether you're here to explore my portfolio, join a course, or simply draw inspiration, I invite you to approach textiles as I do: with a sense of freedom, experimentation, and possibility.
I absolutely love sharing my ideas, techniques, and creative processes—and nothing excites me more than seeing how you interpret and evolve them in your own work.
